In today's dynamic business environment, financial statement audits are essential for ensuring transparency, accuracy, and reliability in your company's financial reporting.  At Your Dependable Ledger LLC, we understand that your business's credibility hinges on the trust placed in its financial statements.  Our comprehensive audit and fraud examination services not only verify the integrity of your financial records but also enhance your stakeholders' confidence.

Did you know that a financial statement audit must be completed by a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)? I have been a CPA since 2012, and I became a Certified Fraud Examiner in 2018. I have 15 years experience in financial statement auditing and accounting, including assessing audit readiness.

Specializing in small to mid-size businesses and not-for-profit organizations, let us help you!

Our Services

Financial Statement Audit

A financial statement audit provides an independent assessment of your financial reports, offering valuable insights that can help identify potential risks and uncover areas for improvement. This process ensures compliance with regulatory requirements while also instilling confidence among investors, creditors, and clients.

We will audit your financial statements to determine whether they are presented fairly in all material respects in conformity with United States Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (U. S. GAAP) based on the auditing standards from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). As part of the financial statement audit, we test the design and effectiveness of internal controls related to financial reporting.

Audit Readiness Assessment

Don’t know if you are in conformity with U. S. GAAP and are in compliance with local , state, and Federal requirements? We can review your financial statements to determine whether they are in conformity with U. S. GAAP and are in compliance with all local, state, and Federal requirements in the United States of America.

Fraud Examination

If you know or suspect fraud is taking place in your organization, we can perform a more specialized review to confirm the existence of fraud. The scope of a fraud examination is smaller than that of a financial statement audit or audit readiness review and is more narrowly focused on the area where fraud is suspected.

Schedule a Consultation

Schedule an appointment to see if we can help you.  Consultations are free and may be conducted in person if you are located in the Washington, DC metropolitan area or via Google Meet or Microsoft Teams.  Please bring copies of your financial statements to the consultation meeting.  If we decide to move ahead with the financial statement audit, audit readiness engagement, or fraud examination, then a separate meeting will be scheduled to discuss the logistics and come to an agreement.
